Hey guys and welcome to my London/birthday haul. Birthday haul? - You might wonder. As you might or might not know, my birthday was in September and for that birthday my friend gave me a weekend trip to London therefore I consider everything I bought in London birthday presents for myself - yaaaaay! As a disclaimer I want to say that yes - I did use a shameful huge amount of money but I also did save up for 4 months so that I could let myself run wild. Alrighty then, lets get to it! (The items are in no particular order)
Wipes! Oil balancing cleansing wipes with tea tree from Primark, twin pack for £1 and brightening cleansing wipes from Simple for 3.99£.
Some Aussio haircare, you can read the name yourself so no reason to type it out again :) These were on sale for 3 for 10£.
The eyegel was 1,50£, the St. Ives scrub was 4,29£ and the dual action moisturizer was 3,55£.
Some Neutrogena goodies, these were on sale, 2 for 5£.
These are travel sizes Soap and Glory goodies, 3 for 2 so it was 5£.
These babies, I'm not really sure - I have a hard time understanding the receipt.. But they were cheaper than they normally are :D
These lipbutters were 5£ each, NOW! I have to say something here that has never been brought to my attention even though I have heard SO many YouTubers rave about these! No one EVER told me that these things have big glitter pieces in them and no one told me that the Peach Parfait was gritty... Also, I don't feel like these are very moisturizing, in fact I feel as though they dry out my lips.. BUT I will keep using then and see how I like them in the future. No matter what, I'm happy I only got two to begin with.
OK.. I'm going to be honest here.. I mainly bought these because of the cool bottle.. :D I got them both for 8£.
I've wanted to try some John Frieda haircare for a while now and after trying some samples I had I couldn't hep to get full sizes! Again, together these were 8£.
Yum to the yummy! When I was in New York last year a got a sample size of this shampoo and GOODNESS GRACIOUS! If you have never smelled this shampoo, do yourself a favor and get the whiff of your life! These smell unbelievably amazing and they were on sale 2 for 4£.
Seriously.. These little deodorants from Impulse are so small and cute, everytime I'm somewhere you can but them I do, but they are unfortunately not available in Denmark.. Also this body spray from Boots smell so yummy but you just have to wait a minute for the serious alcohol smell to evaporate ;) Deodorants were 1£ each and the spray was 2£.
Believe it or not, but I have never ever tried a mascara from Maybeline therefore I bought these two. The Maybeline mascaras were 2 for save-some-money and in total both of them together were 12£. 17 Mascara was 6,29£ and the eyeshadow primer from Rimmel was 4,99£ and I've used it a couple of times and I wasn't too keen on it but I will explore it further.
I do have the receipts which says the prices on the rest of the stuff I bought, but it was so boring to write it in I give up! Anyway, Maybeline dream lumi touch undereye concealer in ivory. Now I want to give you a little warning about this, it's super yellow! On my rose tinted skin you can see very clearly the yellow colour fighting the pink tones - looks bad! Also here's the Bourjois healthy mix anti-fatigue concealer in apricot.
Rimmel stay matte pressed powder in whichever was the lightest colour they had. One thing that I love about this powder is that it has a faint smell of roses so when you dust it over you face you get that rose scent in the air. It doesn't linger on the skin or anything, it just makes it feel luxurious when you apply ;)
17 Miracle matte skin primer - don't feel like it's terribly mattifying to me. Aaaaaand Revlon Colorstay foundation in ivory - thank you dear Revlon for finally making a foundation which is light enough for me!
A big ol' can of Batiste dry shampoo in tropical. Man I love this stuff! Before buying this I had ever only tried one other dry shampoo in my life and completely hated it! But this is amazing, it really makes your hair feel clean and to me in particular this is very helpful because my hair gets really oily but I don't like to wash it too often.
Then some Lush goodies. I bought the BIG shampoo, even though I don't like the idea of salt in a shampoo I mean - why would you put something in your hair that dries it out? But I was curious and my hair is quite flat so.. I also got the Tea Tree Water and the bubblegum lip scrub (you always want a good lip scrub!) and a little tub of body butter because I donated a pound to charity.
Blush from Sleek in the colour pomegranate, really really nice! So sad I didn't buy more, I wanted rosegold but they didn't have it but I'm just nuts about this blush! Opposite to my other favorite blush this one is kind of a coloured shiny veil whereas my Wet n Wild blush in heather silk is a more solid colour.
Lastly in this haul the Liner Pinceau from Bourjois, I haven't used this too much because I have others which I want to use up before but it dries matte and seems to have nice staying power so that's all goodie!
Now, I did purchase more things in London but I lost my camera, as you might know, and I just wanted to go ahead and post this because it's been such a long time! The other things I bought were some shoes, bags, a little accessories and clothes all from Primark. So, please stay tuned on this blog if you want to know what I got in my Goodiebox from January (yes, January), it'll be up before I recieve my Goodiebox February ;)

More darn excuses
Hi guys, so guess what happened. I friggin' lost my camera.. I simply can't find it, I've torn my room apart five times, looked everywhere. Underneath the bed, couch, other ridiculous places it can't even fit. I've looked in all of my boxes, bags, cupboard, laundry hamper even. It's so gone. This weekend I will continue to tear my parent's house apart where it might be even though I did that yesterday. Therefore, not Valentine's day nails and no Syoss hair dye review coming up before I find that camera and trust me I will. It's not so much about the camera itself, it is it's meaning to me. My parents gave it to me for my 18th birthday, I had wanted a camera like that for about 10 years and even though I could've saved up for it myself I waited for them to give it to me so that I'd be a meaningful present which reminded me of my beloved parents. I plan on finding that camera, put a GPS thingy on it so that I'll ALWAYS know where it is, find a new spot for it so it'll never be stolen, growing old together with it and having it with me when I die. - Maybe that sounds too dramatic but that is how strongly I feel about it.
Of course this also means I'm in a complete ratchet state of mind, can't sleep, incredible mood swings, forcing myself to think of other things, praying to God that he'll help me find it. So for the London haul, I'm going to use the pictures that I have and just finish it already so you can see ;)

Makeup: Vampy Blue
Sometimes I bet like you feel that I lie to you. My London haul still isn't up and I didn't even post something special for Valentine's. I'm so sorry! Truth be told is that I've really been down in the dumps previous week and the week after was winter break. Because I live at a boarding school during vacations I have to go home. This is the reason I haven't done any blogging (I am away from my stationary computer with all the blogging pictures) no London haul and no Valentine's even though I DID actually make a Valentine's nail design for you. I'll be back at school monday evening and in the following week I do promise that the London haul will be up. Also I will post my Valentine's look even though it's outdated, but one can always use a glittery heartsy goodness looking nail design. :)
To bring something on the table instead of excuse after excuse, here's a dramatic look for you. I do make posts and then draft them so I have something to post whenever and I felt like you needed something today :D
Also, I'm very excited to tell you that I started with the OCM (oil cleansing method) this is very exciting for me and I will take pictures and keep you updated with that. Alrighty now, I have succeeded in making alot of promises and now I shall honor them before I make too many and fail you again.

Empties #1
Hi guys. I'm gonna show you my emptiiiiies now :D I'm not going to do my empties in any particular time frame, like over or month so. I'll just do them when I feel like I have enough empties for a post. So this time I had alot of empties, simply because I was too lazy to make this post in time so I just kept collecting. Anyway, less talk, more empties and mini-reviews!
First off, this is my Body Smoothies bodywash from Allison. I completely loved this, this came in 4 different scents and I bought them all because I really like them! But hey, what's there to say about bodywash? This is just really nice and lasted me a long time.
So here we have some deodorants, hooooow interesting. Uhmm, the one on the left is the Adidas Action 3 or.. Whatever, this says a hundred different things on the front so I'm not certain about the name. Anyway, I didn't like the scent of this, too strong and it lasted a considerably shorter time than other of my roll-on deos. To the right, Kult cotton dry. This was very nice, nothing more to say about that, I'd probably repurchase if I needed a cheap deodorant.
Kyrell Hair Milk, I used this on my wet hair before blowdrying (not as a heat-protectant). I loves this stuff! I felt like it gave me a some goodness to my hair, it didn't make it FEEL special but I felt like it worked from the inside ;)
From right to left: Colgate multi protection mouthwash. By the way, NO the blue stuff in the bottle is not the mouthwash, it's leftover shampoo because I used for travel-bottle. Obviously this is a travel size, and thank goodness for that! I despised this, so far I've only ever tried one mouthwash that I like. Next is a Pro white system 2 shades whiter toothpaste from Denivit. I felt like this did work, but you'd have to use it every single day (I like to switch it up) and brush for a really long time and it only made a slight difference. Last but not least - DANG I DESPISE THIS TOOTHPASTE! It's Colgate Max White, just some travel-sizes I bought. First of all, these didn't do any whitening at all - AT ALL! Second of all, the have a weird texture and the foam like crazy and the foam is really stiff and just, ugh!
My heart broke when this was empty :'( It's the Wash Scrub Mask from Garnier, this was amazing! It's a really good mask, a good scrub in the shower and you can use if for everyday if you want to as well. I have acne and oily skin and this always made my skin feel FAB! I'll definitely repurchase.
First of all, two little leftovers of hand-soap. An olive and mint one, the olive was so boring, didn't smell like anything, didn't do any olive-goodness and just, naaaah. Then there's a little sample size of creme for seriously dry skin! I used this at the corner of my mouth where I always break each winter and I used it under my nose when I have colds and blow my nose all the time. Lastly I have this fun Sprite Lip Smacker which seems fun enough, but... I don't feel like it hydrates through, it leaves a nasty ass residue on the lips, I know this because I used this at night and in the morning would have to wipe the residue off my lips and LASTLY!! It is white.. Legit, white and on the lips it's white as well.. It looks like you put white cream on your lips - EEW!
Now for some cosmetics. To the left, ELF liquid eyeshadow in... Satin something? Anyways - hate it. Not. Woth. The. Money. It looked horrible on my lids, it was streaky, you couldn't really blend it, it was super sheer and if you applied a second coat it would bubble up and when you touched it would flake off like little scales. So I though to myself, can it really be so bad? So I tried to use it later (before this I has tried it 2 - 3 times) and quess what. It had dried in - completely. Now, Revlon colorstay liquid liner. Super nice, I had it in black brown (but it looked black), nice matte finish and long lasting. When you use it for the first time, make sure to shake up REALLY well though. And last but not least, Quick dry topcoat from Jordana. I didn't like this. The brush is small-ish and no very user-friendly, the topcoat is really strong and smeared my designs and I didn't notice that it was particularly quick drying.
To the left, Wet 'n Wild Mega lash mascara, very nice. Not the best, but not bad at all. I did get some weird clumps or crumbs sometimes but it wasn't bad. Next, Prestige my BIGGEST lashes, I really didn't like it! The brush to too big and bulky, it didn't get all my lashes covered and it dried up rather quickly. Lastly, Maybeline's Lash Stilletto mascara. Very nice lengthening mascara, worth buying.
Left: Wet 'n Wild Volume gloss. I don't remember the colour of this, but it was nice and sweet pink. However, this stank STANK like apricots (I'm not so keen on apricots) and it stank like cloves, and oranges.. It smelled very Christmaslike.. So, if you dig the smell, this was a very nice sheer pink gloss, felt good on the lips. To the right: ELF Hypershine Lipgloss in... Vixen? A watermelony colour anyway.. Thank the lord this was just a little twist up because I hated it! It smells weird, it feels weird and plastic like on the lips, it didn't look very nice colour or shine wise and it always gathered on the inside of the lip - DISGUSTING! It's a wonder I even used this up.
Left: VisionsV Natural retouch concealer. It was OK, but nothing to get overly excited about. It was however nice for undereye circles which I feel like stick concealers can easily be too heavy for. In the middle: ELF tone correcting concealer, this was.. I don't know, I didn't feel like it concealed alot, didn't really make a difference in the undereye area and it got empty fast. To the right, this is a lipstick from Nilens Jord which is a danish brand. This was a beautiful bronze glittery smooth lipstick that looked like lipgloss! Yum! I will repurchase this, amazing! It's a pricier brand, but this was so worth it.
I have so many perfumes I rarely use them up, but I loved this one so much. It's the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea perfume, the original one. I do have the Green Tea Lotus in a 100ml bottle, but the original is the best in my opinion. It's so fresh, you can't help but to love it.
So, these were my empties. I'm sorry of some of my reviews were too long but lacked information, it's a long time since I used these products up, I just put of making the post forever. Hope you liked this, I personally love watching empties so that's why I made this for you :D By the way, I came home from London on Sunday and today is Thursday. I bought so much stuff (I'm ashamed) and I will do a haul very soon. (It'll be my next post)

Review: Collection 2000 Colour Intense Trio
Hi guys. Today's post is a review of two of the Collection 2000 Colour Intense Trios. Lets get started -
The first one I'll be reviewing is in the colour 11 Mocha Choc. I featured this on my blog before where I used it in a MOTD.
Pros +:
Cons -:
All in all, I'm not impressed by this trio, I'm also sad that they didn't add a matte shadow because it all becomes very glittery and shiny.
The next review is in the colour 10 Earthbound.
Pros +:
Cons-:
All in all I prefer this trio over 11 Mocha Choc and for the price it's reasonable, but I wouldn't recommend this because there are other better trios out there for the same price. I'm not SAD that I bought this, I find this to be OK, I'm just saying that there are better ones out there. By the way, this Friday I am going to London with my friend which was her birthday present for me so get ready for some London hauling pretty soon! I've saved up an amount of money which is highly shameful to spend all on one weekend - but hey ;)
I hope you found this review helpful and have an awesome day!
- Elk
Pros +:
- The trios are small, compact and has all the colours you'll need for a look, ergo this is very neat for travelling.
- With the trio you can create a warm neutral look.
- The colours swatch nicely.
Cons -:
- The colours aren't opaque on the eyes. - Even when I packed the colours onto my lid with a foundation underneath to create a sticky base, all the colours kind of meddle together an create a glittery look but you're unable to sort the different distinctive colours apart. I was most sad about the brown which swatches so nicely on the hand, but doesn't come out AT ALL on the lid even though I PACKED it on the crease. Also I'm disappointed by the pink which doesn't come out as pink on the lid.
- The shadows are dry and flaky, mainly the pink and brown.
- When using this I'd had problems with fallout while applying.
- The staying power isn't the best. It kind of fades out.
All in all, I'm not impressed by this trio, I'm also sad that they didn't add a matte shadow because it all becomes very glittery and shiny.
Pros +:
- Small, compact, good for travelling.
- You can create a neautral very "earthy" look.
- The colours are more opaque on the lids than 11 Mocha Choc.
- The shadows are semi-matte therefore you don't need to add a matte in for the shine not to become too overwhelming.
- The shadows are nice and creamy.
Cons-:
- The bronze colour is pretty faint, again I PACKED this colour onto the middle of my lid and it doesn't really show up.
- I experienced some fallout when applying this even though I tapped of the excess.
- The shadows fade out during the day.
All in all I prefer this trio over 11 Mocha Choc and for the price it's reasonable, but I wouldn't recommend this because there are other better trios out there for the same price. I'm not SAD that I bought this, I find this to be OK, I'm just saying that there are better ones out there. My new year nails 2012
Hi guys! I am deeply sorry for the lack of fun Christmas posts this year, I had so so so many planned but I was writing a big assignment for school which counts as an exam, therefor I have been swamped this past December. I do actually have some Christmas nail designs which I didn't post in 2012, so I'll save them for December 2013.
But, lets talk about new years even though that was two days ago now ;)
I am home on Christmas break and I've only got 3 nail-polishes home with me, they are my Christmas presents for myself. I then watched Winterrose84's (YouTube) nail tutorial:
- and thought, hey! What a great, easy design to do when I want to use all my colours and make something fun but still very easy.
So this is what I ended up with, you can also see the polishes in question. (I got the Essie polishes 60% off!! Great price in DK considering the cost double of which the cost in the US)
You can also see some of my mum's Christmas decoration and my very personal Christmas ornament to put on the tree, my holly Empire State Building thing :D
Very very happy new year to everyone!
