The day today

Hi guys. I have absolutely nothing planned for this post, other than just telling you a little about my day.
Today I went to school after 5 days of being sick. It sound disgusting but it's just that I get all this slime in my throat everytime I get sick and it makes it really hard for be to breathe. Sometimes it's worse than others, sometimes I'm chained to my bed an going to the bathroom feels like running a marathon, but this time wasn't too bad. But after 3 days in my room, solo all day and only being with people in the afternoon and evening, not seeing anyone else than just 1 of my friends drove me insane - I HAD TO GO TO SCHOOL!

Remember those cute fluffy white slipper-booties I posted a picture of in my Stockholm haul? I love them soo much, so fluffy and comfy. I feel so cute when wearing them. Anyways, since they are white there is one MAJOR bad thing about them... White doesn' stay white for long! They now look like I've worn them at work to a coal mine. Black black black, no really.. The disgusting kind of black so you just really can see that they're incredibly dirty. I asked my dad about if I might be able to clean them in the washing machine and they'd survive, he said not. I asked about dry-cleaning, he said no again. I belived him for a while but now they've gone so gross that I'd rather just try to wash them and they'd like get bent out of shape trying than wearing those gross dirty booties. Wish me luck with washing them!

On Saturday I'm going to my friend Marie's house with two other friends from our class and we're going to cook some goodie food and just have a good time. I think it's going to be great! I'm looking SO much forward to going home this weekend and see my parents. Miss them :(
Luckily I get ALL of Monday to myself to walk around the house and bake delicious cakes! (My dad always complains about dirty dishes when he's home, that's why I like to have it to myself.)
Anyways, I get all of Monday because those who have maths on B level (we have levels A, B and C. A for three years, B for two and C for one year.) have big rehearsel exam test all days so normal class is cancelled, and I'm a math C so I get the day off :D

I wore my favorite dress today :3 the cute blue one from H&M which I hauled recently as well. LOVE IT! Perfect for my body type, I'm a real biggie and need some cute contouring to emphasize the only good thing about my shape - hourglass. I love that dress, my best buy fo ages! On the other hand I'm not doing so well on the flowery shirt I bought. A bit too tight for my comfort :(

Hmm... I could go on rambling but I bet I'd just tire you.. So.. See ya.. Bye :)
And goodnight! Sleep well, I say this because it's 23:10PM here and I'm in bed just bloggin' before bed.. So.. Goodnight :D

Nails: Bloooooood!

Hi guys. I'm currently reading a blog whose written by a super cool Swedish goth mom! She really inspires me alot and I love reading her blog. Even though I'm not goth myself, I think the style is fantastic and so so beautiful! She inspired me to do these blood dripping nails! (even thought they're not really dripping..)

These nails are super easy to make, just paint your nail any colour you want. (I do recommend a light colour to contrast the red and make it more visible). Take a red polish and kind of just splatter in on/paint it on real messy like blood! These nails are perfect for any alternative style, crazy costumes or Halloween.

But hey! Are you interested in knowing who I was talking about in the begging of the post? Yes I know you are! So here's a link to her blog: http://adorabatbrat.blogspot.com/
Please check her out, she's really cool! She also has a youtube channel.

Goodiebox: February '12

Hi guys. You've probably heard about it, Birchbox, glossybox and all those monthly subscription boxeses of GOODNESS where you pay a certain amount of money each month and recieve a box of different sample size products. WELL, it's finally hit Denmark as well and it's called Goodiebox.
Here's mine for February (yes I realize I'm kind of late...)

Here's the box. Every month there will be one full-size products and this month, being the first, there was a special of two full-size products.

First off, some delicious coco-butter covered almonds with liqourice. YUM!

A Moringa Body Butter sample from The Body Shop. This product smells SO good! It's like spring in a tub. It's quite thick, really moisturizing and the wonderful smell lingers on your skin. I'll probably buy this in full-size.

Just a little smoothing serum, also from The Body Shop. Haven't tried this yet.

Essie full-size nailpolish in Russian Roulette. A really lovely classic red, very light colour though. Really nice and bright for spring. I'm wearing right now to post a review :)

The un-released (at least un-released in Denmark so far) MaxFactor 200 Calorie Dramatic Volume. I've used this product a bit, I do like it but not as much as the original 200 Calorie mascara. (Full-size product as well)

A Dr. Hauschka hand lotion. Smells really nice and lemongrassy, yum. I'm not sure whether this brand is worldwide, but i really doubt it! I think it's just sold in central Europe or so, but I'm not sure. This brand is generally known for their organic make-up and other beauty products, and from my side as well for their high prices, but I'm a cheapskate anyways ;)

Tag: 100 questions no one asks

1:Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?

Yes!
3:Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?
Again, European versus American, our.. Sheets are a little different but I guess.. Out

No.

No because I rarely cut out coupons.

A big bear.. Sounds cooler o.O
8:Do you have freckles?
Yes some, but being the cross between my not-at-all freckled mom and my you-can't-see-my-skin-due-to-freckles-everywhere father, I have that irritating mix of just some facial freckles which bothers me because - I THINK FRECKLES ARE SOOO CUTE!
9:Do you always smile for pictures?
Nooo!

Makeup: Masquerade

Hi guys. At my school we have an annual ball for the boarders. Every ball is themed and this year it's a masquerade ball. I figure I'll just wear my semi-galla dress which I also wore for my 1st school year ball/prom thing. Anyway, the ball is on the 20th of April, and when I heard the theme I went ecstatically exited. A fantastic opportunity for crazy make-up, nails, hair and the works. I think I'll buy a really cool wig, make some crazy fake nails and instead on making/buying a mask I'll make one with make up instead. So, I've been trying a couple of different masquerade looks and I'll keep trying some for the time to come. Here are two pictures of the make-up I put on yesterday and the day before yesterday.

This is my first attempt at doing lace-make-up, ever. I quite liked how it turned out but it looks a little too.. Drab in my opinion.

This on the other hand I'm crazy about! I think I might do this for the ball, but I have to try some more looks.

Here is a more dramatic picture. This is of course all due to editing ;)

If you feel like you've seen this look before, it's probably because you have. I followed this tutorial:
by Klaire de Lys, she is really really fantasticly skilled with make-up and she makes the best costume make-up I've seen on youtube. Since I didn't have the net she uses I just added some glitter stuff and I didn't have fake lashes or silver eyeliner so I just improvised a little.
